Job summary

InStride Health is seeking an Instructional Designer to create, build, and manage learning initiatives for our provider community, including psychiatrists, therapists, and exposure coaches. You will partner with clinical leaders to convert complex protocols into practical training that enhances care for kids and families.

The role emphasizes online course development, project management, and collaboration across remote teams. A portfolio must accompany your application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years in instructional design and digital course development for specialized adult audiences.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 and video/audio editing software (Camtasia, Audacity, Adobe CC).
• Solid foundation in adult learning theory, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Kirkpatrick evaluation.
• Experience using generative AI tools to accelerate ideation, drafts, and multimedia production.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Clear, effective verbal and written communication across remote, multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest or background in behavioral health is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional startup teams.

Responsibilities

• Needs analyses with clinical leadership to diagnose performance gaps and define learning objectives.
• Apply ADDIE/SAM/Backward Design to structure modular training paths.
• Partner with SMEs to translate behavioral health protocols into learning experiences.
• Design and develop interactive e-learning modules, job aids, and checks using Articulate 360.
• Script, record, and edit multimedia elements with Camtasia and audio tools.
• Use AI tools to accelerate storyboarding, scripts, and assessments while ensuring accuracy.
