Job summary

EXL Service is seeking an Instructional Designer to design blended live and e-learning content for clinical, coding, and audit teams across Payment Integrity programs such as DRG, clinical validation, outpatient, and home health.

The ideal candidate will have background in nursing, clinical care, coding, or healthcare audit education and will collaborate with a remote team of Trainers and SMEs to develop courses, assess needs, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Job description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, clinical care, coding, clinical documentation, or healthcare audit education. This role will partner with a cross-cultural, fully remote team of Trainers and Subject Matter Experts to design advanced educational courses for clinical, coding, and audit teams across Payment Integrity programs, including DRG, clinical validation, outpatient, home health, etc. and related audit workflows. The Instructional Designer will create blended live and e-learning content using video, technical information, learner activities, case-based scenarios, knowledge and skills assessments, and other interactive tools. This role will support needs assessments, learning objective development, course design, curriculum updates, and training effectiveness evaluation. This is a remote office opportunity.

• Salary Range: $56k – $89k (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
• Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based)
• Up to 10% annual travel (for team meetings and limited client onsite engagements.)
