Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a HB Coding Strategic Data Analyst to transform complex coding data into actionable insights that drive performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making across Hospital Billing Coding operations.

You will develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Epic, CAC, and Power BI to support coding leadership, optimize workflows, and improve financial performance and coding accuracy.

Qualifications

3 years of data analytics experience and KPI management knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel functions.
Epic coding technology experience required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary analytics resource for Coding Leadership transforming data into insights.
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs on multiple cadences.
Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends and opportunities.
Translate findings into clear reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and meet objectives.
Utilize Epic, CAC, Power BI, and Microsoft tools to evaluate systems and validate requirements.
Coordinate coding technology activities and document workflows.
Lead reporting, technology, and improvement initiatives with strong data integrity.
