Northwestern Memorial Hospital is hiring a remote HB Coding Strategic Data Analyst to transform complex coding data into actionable insights that drive performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making across Hospital Billing Coding operations.

You will develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to identify outpatient trends, measure outcomes, and improve financial performance while supporting coding leadership and resource planning.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years of data analytics experience.
• Working knowledge of KPI management.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office familiarity.
• Experience with Epic and CAC technology.
• AHIMA or AAPC HIM membership.
• Epic certification required at hire or within six months.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary analytics resource for Coding Leadership transforming data into actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, reports, and analyses on various cadences.
• Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Translate findings into clear reports and visuals for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and meet objectives.
• Utilize Epic, CAC, Power BI, and Microsoft tools to evaluate functionality and validate requirements.
• Document workflows and coordinate upgrades, testing, and user acceptance.
• Lead and support reporting, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
