Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in health information management, health informatics, or related field; or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• Experience: 3 years of data analytics; KPI management; advanced Excel; Epic and CAC technology.
• Licensure: None required.
• Certification: AHIMA or AAPC; Epic certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analytics resource for Coding Leadership transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, routine reports, and ad hoc analyses related to productivity, quality, AR, budgets, vendor performance, and workflow outcomes.
• Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, variances, and improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear reports, presentations, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues and support reporting needs.
• Utilize Epic, CAC, Power BI, and other tools to evaluate functionality and optimize performance.
• Coordinate coding technology activities, document workflows, upgrades, and testing; act as SME for Epic/CAC workflows.
• Lead and support reporting, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives via project management.
