Job summary

Sound Physicians, headquartered in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Coding Compliance Educator to deliver coding, documentation, and compliance education across assigned service lines. You translate audit findings and regulatory guidance into practical training for providers and clinical leadership.

The role collaborates with Compliance Audit and Revenue Cycle, analyzes audit data, creates educational materials, and leads sessions to promote accurate and defensible coding practices.

Qualifications

• Active coding credential such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, RHIT, RHIA, or comparable.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive coding compliance auditing or provider education experience.
• Experience educating physicians or clinical leadership preferred.
• Experience researching CMS guidance and coding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver coding, documentation, and compliance education to providers and clinical leadership.
• Translate audit findings and regulatory changes into practical education.
• Respond to provider questions on coding, documentation, billing, and compliance.
• Create educational materials and presentations to support compliant practices.
• Lead education sessions with providers and site leadership.
