Sound Physicians is seeking an Associate Compliance Coding Auditor to perform routine coding and documentation audits using established methodologies and tools. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory alignment, and timely documentation across CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and modifiers.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of healthcare coding experience and active credentials (CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA). A strong attention to detail and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of healthcare coding experience.
• Active coding credentials (CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA) required.
• Direct compliance-auditing experience preferred, with growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine coding and documentation audits using established methodologies.
• Review medical records for CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, and related requirements.
• Document audit findings with rationale in designated systems.
• Complete audits through finalization, communication, and closure.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to senior team members.
