Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking an Associate Compliance Coding Auditor to perform routine coding and documentation audits. You will review medical records for CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS accuracy, document findings, and support education handoffs within a compliance-focused team.

Qualifications

• Foundational CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS knowledge for audits.
• Knowledge of CMS documentation and coding requirements.
• Ability to research and apply regulatory guidance to coding.
• Active coding credentials are required.
• Experience with compliance auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine coding and documentation audits using established methodologies.
• Review medical records for CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS accuracy.
• Document audit findings with rationale in designated systems.
• Complete audits through workflow with finalization and education handoff.
• Escalate high‑risk or unclear matters to senior team members.
