Job summary

Harris & Harris is seeking a Healthcare Business Development Executive to join our Sales team. The role focuses on developing new ideas and strategies to drive revenue by acquiring healthcare clients, with a strong emphasis on direct marketing and CRM-driven relationships.

The position is 100% remote with periodic travel to our Chicago, IL office and client sites (about 10% travel). Salary ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually, plus commissions.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong direct marketing and sales drive in healthcare.
• Experience building relationships with healthcare clients is preferred.
• CRM proficiency and ability to manage leads to contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute direct marketing and sales activities within approved budgets to meet company objectives.
• Develop new and innovative ideas that will drive company revenue by obtaining new clients in the healthcare space.
• Strategically utilize CRM tools to establish and maintain solid working relationships with newly generated leads that will convert into a profitable clientele list.
• Convert clientele list into profitable contracts by successfully securing new contracts that will increase revenue and ensure company goals.
• Maintain and develop company database with current and prospective government clients.
• Immediately follow-up on sales inquiries via phone, email and in-person visits to maintain a close, positive rapport with current and potential clients.
• Supporting sales leadership on non-territory related assignments.
