Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative to support a large healthcare client. You will handle patient inquiries via phone, resolve billing and insurance questions, and educate patients on their accounts.

The role emphasizes first-contact resolution, accurate Epic data entry, and adherence to scripts and workflows. The position is fully remote within the U.S., offering a competitive hourly rate and full benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare/medical environment.
• Strong communication and phone-based customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle 45–50 inbound calls per day in a high-volume center.
• Research and resolve billing, payments, insurance, and eligibility questions.
• Assist with copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and payment plans.
• Update billing information and patient scheduling as needed.
• Aim for first-contact resolution and clear explanations of billing details.
• Document patient activity and update Epic accurately.
• Follow scripts and established processes; maintain efficient call handling.
