Job summary

GetixHealth is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle high-volume calls about billing, payments, and medical coverage. The role is remote with CST shifts and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and empathy to support patients and clients.

Responsibilities include using scripts, researching accounts, and resolving inquiries while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Prior experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred (Spanish).
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare billing helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle 60+ inbound and outbound calls per day related to billing, payments, medical claims, and coverage.
• Respond to inquiries using established procedures and scripts.
• Explain billing information, insurance benefits, and services to patients.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet performance goals and improve processes.
