Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States seeks a Health Services Training and Development Manager to lead training initiatives remotely across IA, MN and NE. You will work with Health Services leadership to foster a learning culture and deliver evidenced-based training that enhances patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, human services, public health, nursing related area, or 2-4 years equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience working in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.
• Experience working with confidential information.
• Must have the ability and willingness to travel as needed within PPNCS.
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours that match the health center hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Experience working with high risk or underserved populations (youth, women, minorities, LGBTQ, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Leads Training Team in developing a culture that fosters positive attitudes and trust among staff to achieve health center goals.
• Maintains an innovative perspective and approach to implementing an effective training program.
• Supports and leads team through changes in the business and serves as a role model in ethics and service.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of all Training Team activities.
• Facilitates development of written training materials and guides and updates Materials.
• Monitors compliance with SOPs and Medical Standards and Guidelines, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, etc.
• Reinforces patient-centered service and ensures timely, courteous responses.
• Promotes a safe and inclusive environment and supports diversity.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and management of Training Team staff and ongoing development.
• Analyzes, prepares, and submits reports and ensures deadlines.
• Develops and monitors Training Team financial plan and controls expenditures.
• Collaborates with health centers to use process improvement tools and achieve goals.
• Maintains health center flow and supports front desk and related tasks as needed.
• Manages training and orientation schedules with Staffing Team.
• Advances medical services across clinics including family planning and transgender care.
• Coordinates training components of implementation projects with Health Services.
• Functions as Project Manager on initiatives as assigned.
