Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to manage inbound and outbound calls, resolving questions about insurance, financial assistance, and payments in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires 1+ years in a call center or customer service setting, healthcare terminology knowledge, and flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may qualify for additional hourly increases.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role with public interaction.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and Saturdays as required.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve billing and payment issues for clients.
• Respond to information requests from patients/accounts in a professional manner.
• Pursue payment or payment arrangements on behalf of the client.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies in duties.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
• Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws.
