Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT-enabled initiatives across multiple states. You will partner with health systems and GSK teams to align EHR resources with clinical workflows and patient care goals.

You will translate data insights into opportunities, educate customers on approved tools, and coordinate field support while ensuring governance and compliance with GSK policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of health informatics or EHR-related roles in a hospital or patient-care environment.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, or iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on EHR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for improved care delivery.
• Educate customers on EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support.
• Ensure customer ownership of governance decisions while complying with policies.
