Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager to translate HIT insights into practical opportunities that improve patient identification, workflow efficiency, and care coordination across multiple states. You will partner with health systems and GSK teams to align HIT capabilities with customer needs and governance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in health informatics or EHR-related roles within hospitals, physician practices, or patient-care environments.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and major EHR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth, Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on knowledge of EHR products and governance.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and GSK teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, and data insights to identify opportunities for improved patient care and efficiency.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and field input on scalable tools.
