Job summary

The Health Benefits Risk Pool Account Executive at TML Multistate Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool d b a TML Health Benefits Pool is responsible for retaining Pool membership by building strong relationships with insured groups and their brokers. You act as a trusted advisor, guiding design decisions within budget and communicating the pool's value.

You will lead pre-renewal discussions, provide performance reporting, support renewal negotiations, and collaborate with the Account

Qualifications

• Texas General Lines license—life, accident, health, and HMO Insurance preferred.
• 3–5 years in sales, account management, or benefit plan management for fully insured health benefits.
• Experience with diverse healthcare plans and underwriting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with Benefit Coordinators and decision makers.
• Perform strategic renewal reviews, interpret claim reports, and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with Account Manager on service issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Present TXHB products and educate brokers/consultants on opportunities.
• Travel within Texas 2–3 days per week for in-person meetings.
