Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for North American ruminant health. You will lead a skilled team, shape technical strategy, and partner across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory and Innovation to deliver science-based solutions that improve animal performance and profitability.

You will engage producers, nutritionists, and veterinarians, oversee field trials, and represent the company at industry events while traveling up to 50% to support customers across North America.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Proven ability to partner with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
• Travel: Up to 50% domestic/international travel.
