Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and identify prospects.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Work with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing and referrals.
• Maintain relationships within Broker channels and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
