Job summary

Paylocity, a cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is seeking a sales professional for a fully remote role focused on the Greater Charlotte territory in the United States. You will prospect, develop business relationships, and close new and expanded sales agreements in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, presenting Paylocity services, coordinating proposals, and ensuring smooth client transitions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Critical thinking and decision-making to handle objections.
• Customer service orientation.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and build client relationships.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Maintain relationships with Broker channels and referral sources.
• Stay in touch with existing customers to identify new service needs.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
