Job summary

Paylocity, a leader in cloud-based HR and payroll software, is seeking a remote Sales & Marketing professional in the Greater Wilmington area. You will prospect, develop business relationships, and close new and expanded deals with mid-market clients across the U.S.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll generate opportunities, present Paylocity services, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding and long-term success. Remote work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales position.
• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree strongly desired.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in target markets.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up.
• Organize and obtain documentation for client onboarding.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networking.
• Build relationships within broker channels and referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify needs.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote services.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas for territory.
