Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a results-driven sales professional to prospect and close new and expanded client agreements in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment serving mid-market businesses (49–499 employees). You will help solve client needs and tailor Paylocity solutions for performance.

This remote, U.S.-only role emphasizes generating opportunities, presenting services, coordinating with internal teams, and building broker and referral relationships to meet quarterly quotas.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities with prospective clients.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospects.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation required for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Work with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and professional/personal contacts.
• Build relationships within the Broker channel and referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for your territory.
• Other duties as assigned.
