Paylocity is a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider. The HCM Account Executive will prospect and develop business relationships with potential clients, closing new and expanded sales agreements in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you will strengthen client relationships, tailor Paylocity solutions, and drive growth for mid-market clients (49-499 employees). Fully remote within the U.S. with standard work hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• High activity levels and persistence in sales cycles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities consistently.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up.
• Document client onboarding for Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Maintain broker and referral-source relationships.
• Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas.
• Attend trade shows and industry events.
