Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position and a proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain high activity levels and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities consistently.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within the broker channel and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify upsell opportunities.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
