Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a dynamic sales professional for a fully remote position within the United States. You will prospect, develop business relationships, and close new or expanded agreements with mid-size clients (49-499 employees).

A proactive approach and consultative selling will be essential to succeed in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment. The role reports to the Director of Sales and requires 3-5 years of sales experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work five days

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position in a competitive environment.
• Proven track record of sales success and ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; capable of handling objections.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Internet; excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Coordinate documentation for onboarding clients to Paylocity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing and professional/personal networks.
• Build relationships within broker channels and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional service needs.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
