Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a skilled HCC/E/M coder for a fully remote, full-time role serving healthcare clients nationwide.

The position emphasizes accurate ICD-10-CM coding, risk adjustment, and client collaboration to ensure compliant documentation and optimal reimbursement. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of HCC coding experience, current credentials (CPC/COC/CCS-P or CRC preferred), and strong Excel/EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of CPC/COC/CCS-P or CRC is preferred.
• 5–7 years of HCC coding experience.
• Recent experience with E/M coding recommended.
• Extensive medical terminology knowledge required.
• Experience researching and applying coding rules.
• Experience with audit software tools.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and EMR systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive, respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow Medicare, ICD-10-CM and client guidelines for coding.
• Adhere to Risk Adjustment Data Abstraction Rules.
• Enter coding data into client systems accurately.
• Assess documentation quality for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with clients and providers for clarifications.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on workload and questions.
• Track and record time accurately in timekeeping system.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in handling information.
• Stay updated on CMS/HHS HCC hierarchies.
