Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a Hospitalist Coder to remotely assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM codes and modifiers from provider documentation. This role supports accurate coding, revenue integrity, and documentation trends in a flexible remote environment.

The ideal candidate has CPC/CCS-P credentials with 5+ years of coding experience, strong Excel/EMR skills, and excellent communication to collaborate with providers and project managers.

Qualifications

• CPC or CCS-P certification with at least 5 years of coding experience.
• Proficiency in abstracting CPT, E/M, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM codes from provider notes.
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet client turnaround times for coding tasks.
• Abstract E/M, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM codes from medical records.
• Enter data into client software or Excel reports accurately.
• Evaluate documentation quality for improvement opportunities.
• Communicate with clients/providers for clarification as needed.
• Adhere to privacy and HIPAA requirements.
