Job summary

Datavant is seeking a remote HCC coder to review medical records, identify, and code diagnoses using ICD-10 guidelines for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will ensure accuracy and compliance while working in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of HCC coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC credentials, and the ability to manage multiple client projects remotely. Expect a 40-hour work week with competitive base pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HCC coding.
• Extensive ICD-10 knowledge.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; remote work experience.
• Must commit to 40 hours weekly.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials required (CRC preferred if CPC).

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic information per client guidelines.
• Ensure ICD-10 CM/DRG compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coders must meet and maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Any other task requested by management.
