Sporty Group is seeking a skilled GTM/GA4 Implementation Specialist to ensure accurate tracking, audits, and strategic use of analytics across web and mobile platforms. You will lead implementations and maintenance while partnering with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver reliable data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years implementing, auditing, and managing GTM/GA4 across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of web analytics, digital marketing, and data privacy.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting analytics tracking for campaigns and third-party platforms in a B2C environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially with remote teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and how they interact with GTM/GA4.
• Familiarity with attribution, experimentation, and cross-channel measurement.

Responsibilities

• Campaign management: ensure accurate tracking for conversions and events; analyze performance and provide insights.
• Marketing platform integration: configure tracking for third-party platforms and attribution.
• Stakeholder partnership: collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to define tracking needs.
• Platform audit: audit GTM and GA4 implementations to identify issues and improvements.
• Implementation: lead GTM/GA4 deployment across web platforms with proper tags and data capture.
• Maintenance: update and optimize GTM containers and GA4 configurations for new features.
• Debugging: troubleshoot tag management, data layers, and analytics tracking.
• Training & documentation: train teams and document processes and changes.
• Compliance & privacy: ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance and user privacy standards.
• Ownership: own front-end and back-end tracking events; test events with Product/Engineering.
• Documentation: curate tracking schema for events, triggers, and user properties.
