Job summary

Sporty Group is seeking a skilled Google Tag Manager (GTM)/GA4 Implementation Specialist to join our data-driven marketing team. You will ensure accurate tracking across web, Android, and iOS, implement a robust analytics framework, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurement-driven decisions.

You will audit, maintain, and optimize GTM/GA4 configurations, train internal teams, ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance, and own end-to-end event tracking from front-end to back-end.

Qualifications

• 3+ years implementing, auditing, and managing GTM/GA4 across web, Android, and iOS.
• Strong understanding of web analytics, digital marketing and data privacy.
• Experience troubleshooting analytics tracking across campaigns and third‑party platforms in a B2C environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across remote teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and how they interact with GTM/GA4.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, SEO, PPC, and social media campaign tracking.

Responsibilities

• Campaign tracking setup and ensuring accurate conversions and events.
• Configure and manage tracking for third‑party advertising platforms with proper attribution.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to capture requirements and deliver analytics implementations.
• Audit GTM/GA4 implementations to identify discrepancies and improvements.
• Lead GTM/GA4 implementation across web platforms with correct tags, triggers, variables.
• Maintain and update GTM containers and GA4 configurations.
• Debug tag management, data layers, and tracking to ensure data integrity.
• Train internal teams on GTM/GA4 and document processes.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA and privacy standards.
• Own frontend and backend event tracking and establish testing processes with PMs and Eng teams.
• Curate and maintain a tracking schema for events and documentation.
