Job summary

Block, Inc. is seeking a Growth Manager to own activation and habituation for Cash App. You will set strategy, own the roadmap and experiment backlog, and ship initiatives with Engineering, ML, Design, and Analytics to move activation and retention.

You will test onboarding, in-app prompts, incentives, and communications across push, email, SMS, and in-app surfaces, measuring impact and iterating quickly. You’ll balance strategy with hands-on execution and drive AI-enabled growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in growth product/marketing or consumer analytics in a B2C tech environment.
• Track record owning a growth goal end-to-end and shipping measurable impact.
• Experience shaping the product experience with engineers to ship iterative changes.
• Comfort moving between strategy and hands-on execution; able to write and ship messages as needed.
• Strong data instincts; ability to size opportunities and interpret data yourself.
• Deep experimentation experience; backlog design and rigorous tests.
• Hands-on experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms (Braze/Iterable/SFMC) or quick ramp.
• Fluency with AI tools to automate and scale output.

Responsibilities

• Own activation and habituation goals end-to-end for your area.
• Define the opportunity landscape, set strategy, decide where to invest, and deliver measurable impact on activation and retention.
• Own the roadmap and experiment backlog; score ideas by impact and effort.
• Run rapid experiments across onboarding, upsell, prompts, incentives, and communications.
• Ship product changes, in-app experiences, and customer messages with Engineering and ML.
• Diagnose funnel, size opportunities, read results, and iterate without analyst dependence.
• Push AI-driven decisioning and automation and shape growth’s future.
• Bring learnings back to Engagement Marketing for broader lifecycle scale across Block.
