Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers across the customer journey—from acquisition to expansion. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in product analytics or growth analytics in a SaaS environment.
• Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests with statistical understanding.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex data sources.
• Experience using Python, R, or another language for statistical analysis or data preparation.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or comparable modern data platforms is helpful.
• Ability to define meaningful metrics and measurement plans in partnership with Product and Engineering, including instrumentation and event data.
• Experience building dashboards, self-service reporting, and metric layers with tools like Looker/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand PLG journey performance, friction points, and growth opportunities.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive self-service bookings and net customer growth.
• Partner with PLG PMs and Engineers to define business questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts with coaching and career development.
• Establish and evolve PLG funnel measurement across acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels, and experimentation methods.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments with clear guardrails and instrumentation.
• Improve product analytics quality with consistent metric definitions and reusable datasets.
• Apply AI-assisted tools for faster analysis, SQL/Python development, data modeling, and documentation.
