Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers across the customer journey—from acquisition to expansion. The role blends hands-on analysis with strategic analytics leadership to shape the analytics function and enable data-driven decisions at scale.

You will influence measurement, data modeling, and reporting while leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate insights and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics, growth analytics, BI or data science in SaaS.
• Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong SQL skills with complex data sources.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Snowflake/dbt.
• Ability to define metrics and measurement plans with Product/Engineering.
• Experience building dashboards and self-serve analytics assets.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand PLG journey performance, friction, and opportunities.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive self-service bookings and growth.
• Partner with PLG PMs to define questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics.
• Lead and develop growth analysts with coaching and career growth.
• Establish and evolve measurement for the PLG funnel across stages.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, funnel, retention, and experiments.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments with guardrails and instrumentation.
• Improve quality of product analytics with metrics, event tracking, and dashboards.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis and reporting while ensuring accuracy.
