Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers. You will shape analytics strategy across the customer journey, from acquisition through expansion, delivering insights that inform product decisions at scale.

The role combines hands-on analysis with strategic leadership to advance measurement plans, dashboards, and self-service reporting across data platforms and tools.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics, growth analytics, BI, data science, or related field.
• Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data sources.
• Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Snowflake/dbt.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts; set priorities and coach.
• Define business questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics with product engineers.
• Establish measurement for the PLG funnel: acquisition, activation, retention, expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data teams for self-service insights.
• Design measurement plans for product initiatives and experiments.
• Improve product analytics through trusted metrics, event tracking, and dashboards.
