Job summary

Humana seeks a Business Intelligence Lead to solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. This is a remote role across the United States, reporting to the Business Intelligence Principal within Growth Analytics & AI.

Required: strong Python/PySpark, Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, workflows), advanced SQL, and Git-based CI/CD. Able to communicate across business, PM, and technical teams with senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in data analysis or a Master's with 3+ years.
• Advanced Python/PySpark experience.
• Advanced Databricks experience (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, workflows).
• Refactoring and optimization of Python/PySpark codebases.
• Production data pipelines with schemas, validation gates and logging.
• Advanced SQL with read/write to SQL Server systems of record.
• Git-based engineering: branching, PRs, code review, CI/CD.
• Translate requirements between business, PM and technical teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication to senior leadership.
• Willing to commit to 12 months in the role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production data pipelines with quality controls.
