Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to join the Growth Analytics & AI Team. This remote role requires strong SQL, Python/PySpark, and Databricks expertise to solve complex business problems and deliver insight to decision-makers across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with business, project management, and technical teams, building production data pipelines with robust validation, schemas, and logging. Excellent communication to senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years technical data analytics experience OR Master’s with 3+ years.
Advanced Python/PySpark experience.
Advanced Databricks experience including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, jobs/workflows, and service principal authentication.
Experience refactoring and optimizing Python/PySpark codebases.
Experience building production data pipelines with schemas, validation gates, and logging.
Advanced SQL experience with stored procedures and SQL Server integration.
Git-based engineering: branching, PRs, code reviews, CI/CD.
Experience translating requirements between business, PM and technical teams.
Strong written and verbal communication to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
Develop and maintain production data pipelines with quality controls and monitoring.
Demonstrate leadership in analytics initiatives within Growth Analytics & AI.
