Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Lahaina, Hawaii, seeks a group sales professional to act as the on-property liaison for group sales within predefined peak room parameters. You will contract and close group business, conduct site inspections, and ensure timely turnover for quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-property liaison for group sales within predefined peak room parameters.
• Contracts and closes group business; conducts site inspections.
• Verifies turnover to ensure quality service delivery; up-sells business opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Implements brand service strategy and drives customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Develops relationships with customers; works with Event Management and Operations to meet needs.
