Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional to act as the on-property liaison for group sales, conduct site inspections, and close group business. You will up-sell opportunities and coordinate turnover between sales and operations to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years in sales/marketing or related area.
• Or a 2-year degree plus 2 years in sales/marketing.
• Large group sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-property liaison for group sales within predefined peak room parameters.
• Contracts and closes group business and conducts site inspections.
• Up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue.
• Implements brand service strategy and drives customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Verifies turnover from sales to operations and back to sales with high service levels.
• Monitors same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
