Job summary

A leading employee benefits firm is seeking an experienced client liaison to manage group health and ancillary benefit programs. This full-time, remote role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a Life & Health license in Virginia or North Carolina. You'll partner with employer clients to design benefits strategies and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing group health and ancillary benefit programs, ideally in an agency or brokerage environment.
• Current Life & Health license in NC or VA is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental benefit offerings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple client priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience leading benefit meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for mid-to-large employer group clients, ensuring smooth delivery of employee benefits programs.
• Manage day-to-day account servicing needs such as renewals and policy changes.
• Partner closely with clients' HR and leadership teams to design benefits strategies.
• Oversee implementation of new benefit plans.
• Conduct regular client reviews to assess plan performance and satisfaction.

Skills

Experience managing group health and ancillary benefit programs

Current Life & Health license in NC or VA

Knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability benefits

Navigating carrier relationships

Interpreting benefit plan documents
