Job summary

The Cross Family of Agencies is hiring an Employee Benefits Account Manager to foster long-term client relationships and serve as the main contact for escalated service issues. You will collaborate with internal teams and carriers to meet client needs and drive growth.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, supporting renewals, presenting proposals, and ensuring compliant processes. A NH Health & Life license and strong communication skills are required; remote work is possible for

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, but a high school diploma with a minimum three years of experience in employee benefit account management is required.
• New Hampshire agent's license in Health and Life.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, clients, and prospects.
• High level of patience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to compose clear and accurate correspondence.
• Creative and effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalated service issues. Foster strong relationships with clients and their employees.
• Account Management: Oversee the overall management and oversight of assigned agency accounts. Lead marketing and underwriting support for new and renewed accounts.
• Team Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Producers, Account Executives, and Support Teams.
• Additional Responsibilities: Attend and complete required training sessions and assignments; maintain accurate databases and files.
