Duke University School of Medicine seeks a pre- and/or post-award specialist to support sponsored projects. You will review proposals, help manage awards, and ensure compliance with sponsor and university policies.

The role involves training, potential cross-training between pre-award and award management, and collaboration with PIs and department staff. Remote work options are available within eligible states.

Qualificações

• Pre- and/or award management activities for Schools of Medicine and Nursing.
• Pre-award reviews of proposals for compliance with policies and federal regulations.
• Award management including NOA review, budget changes, and project closeout.

Responsabilidades

• Assist PIs and Grant Managers in developing accurate proposal budgets and compliant materials.
• Review applications for risk, accuracy, rates, and allowability; facilitate changes.
• Ensure required compliance approvals (human subjects, animals, COI, biohazards) are obtained.
