Job summary

Reach Out and Read Northwest, an affiliate of the national Reach Out and Read program, is seeking a Development Specialist to advance grant writing and donor stewardship in a fully remote role based in Washington State.

After onboarding, you will draft foundation and corporate proposals, manage grant timelines in Salesforce and Asana, and support funder reporting, thanking donors and building lasting relationships with funders and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with grant proposals, reports, or donor stewardship.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Comfort with data and Salesforce reporting.
• Remote work ability with independent motivation.

Responsibilities

• Draft foundation and corporate proposals and reports.
• Coordinate grant timelines and submit interim and final reports.
• Maintain templates and Canva materials for funder communications.
• Enter and manage grant data in Salesforce.
• Support donor acknowledgment and stewarding activities.
