Job summary

Reach Out and Read Northwest is seeking a Development Specialist who will lead grant writing and reporting, coordinate proposals and reports, and support donor stewardship from a fully remote location in Washington State.

You will collaborate with the Associate Director of Development and program teams, grow your portfolio over time, and help ensure funder commitments are met with accurate data in Salesforce and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Approximately two to three years of nonprofit fundraising experience with writing.
• Experience writing grant proposals and reports; ability to turn program impact into funder narratives.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling skills.
• Collaborative, cross-team work and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit foundation and corporate proposals and reports.
• Coordinate grant reporting, gather information, and submit on time.
• Maintain templates, boilerplate language and Canva materials.
• Manage Northwest grants calendar and timelines in Asana.
• Enter and maintain grant and donor data in Salesforce.
