Reach Out and Read Northwest is seeking a Development Specialist to advance grant writing and donor stewardship. You will draft proposals and reports, maintain Salesforce data, and help ensure funder deadlines are met in collaboration with the Associate Director of Development.

This full-time, fully remote position is based in Washington state. We value equity, strong writing, and project management as you grow a portfolio of grants and build relationships with funders over time.

Qualifications

• Approximately two to three years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
• Collaborative across teams with data accuracy.
• Experience with donor databases and reporting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Draft foundation and corporate proposals and reports.
• Coordinate grant reporting with program and finance teams.
• Manage Northwest grants calendar and deadlines.
• Update Salesforce with grant and donor data.
• Prepare materials for stewardship meetings and communications.
