Reach Out and Read Northwest in Washington State is seeking a Development Specialist to join our fundraising team. After onboarding, you will take on grant writing, reporting, donor stewardship, and collaboration with program staff to translate impact into compelling funder narratives.

This full-time, remote role supports Salesforce and Asana workflows, with opportunities to grow into a larger grant portfolio while helping funders and communities reach more children.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of nonprofit fundraising or related writing work.
• Strong written communication skills with ability to translate impact into funder narratives.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft foundation and corporate grant proposals and reports.
• Coordinate grant reporting and maintain calendars with deadlines.
• Maintain donor databases and generate routine pipeline reports.
• Support stewardship and acknowledgments for funders.
