Job summary

The Parkinson & Movement Disorder Alliance is seeking a Development Specialist to support fundraising, development, revenue, and related operations from a remote setting across the United States.

You will coordinate sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, donor communications, e-marketing, grant development, and compliance, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting while collaborating with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Comfortable with technology and software navigation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Salesforce and Asana.
• Detail-oriented and organized; excellent follow-through.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends for events.
• 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Support sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, donor communications, and e-marketing.
• Track revenue, donations, and receivables; prepare reports.
• Coordinate grant development and submissions.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising registrations and reporting.
• Maintain data integrity across fundraising systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support development administration and data entry.
• Manage communications and marketing calendar.
• Prepare donor acknowledgment letters within 48 hours.
• Oversee vendor relationships and project coordination.
• Assist with charitable registrations and audits.
• Monitor and manage fundraising platforms and tools.
