Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a GovCon Pricing Manager to lead day-to-day pricing operations, develop pricing strategies for complex federal contracts, and ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and audit standards. This role requires strong Excel modeling, cost narratives, and collaboration with BD, Operations, and Finance.

Remote in the United States with potential office preference. Eight+ years in federal proposal pricing and leadership, plus a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in federal proposal pricing.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory or team lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• Advanced Excel with dynamic cost models compliant with FAR/CAS/DCMA.
• Experience leading pricing for large federal proposals and IDIQs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for non-pricing stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day pricing operations and strategy across enterprise bids.
• Develops pricing packages with complex Excel cost models and narratives.
• Executes pricing tools, data sources, and governance for consistency.
• Coordinates with BD, Operations, Contracts, Procurement and Finance.
• Develops pricing strategies using cost modeling and competitor data.
• Mentors pricing analysts and presents risk and margin analyses.
• Ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA/DCMA and company policies.
• Reviews BOE documentation and subcontractor inputs for accuracy.
• Conducts cost analyses of labor rates, indirect rates, and price realism.
• Advises senior leadership on pricing risk and investment decisions.
