Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Senior Contracts & Pricing Manager to lead the development, analysis, and submission of complex federal cost proposals from a remote setting in the DC or Charleston area.

You will oversee pricing activities, mentor junior staff, and advise leadership on pricing strategy while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and related regulations.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in federal contract pricing or contract management.
  • Advanced knowledge of GSA schedules, IDIQ pricing strategies, T&M, FFP, CPFF, and hybrid contract types.
  • Deep understanding of government acquisition processes and cost principles (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with various contract vehicles (e.g. GSA, PIEE, SBIR, OTAs).
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel or other pricing modeling software (including AI tools).
  • SalesForce experience preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead pricing team within a remote environment effectively.
  • Experience supporting DCAA audits and GAO accountability processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and oversight of compliant, competitive pricing for government contract proposals (RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs, GWACs).
  • Collaborate with BD, contracts, finance, and PM to ensure alignment of strategy, compliance, and cost accuracy.
  • Develop advanced cost models, pricing strategies, and scenario analyses for executive decisions.
  • Interpret and apply FAR/DFARS and agency supplements to cost/pricing analysis.
  • Review solicitations and contractual docs for requirements, risks, and pricing implications.
  • Prepare pricing narratives, cost volumes, and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as a SME on contract terms, conditions, and pricing methodologies.
  • Lead internal cost audits and ensure adherence to pricing policies.
  • Mentor junior pricing analysts and contract specialists.
  • Manage multiple complex priorities under tight deadlines.

Location: REMOTE - District of Columbia (DC) or Charleston, SC area

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Contracts & Pricing Manager with 7–10 years of direct experience supporting federal government contracts. In this role, you will lead the development, analysis, negotiation, and submission of complex cost and pricing proposals in full compliance with federal regulations. You will oversee all contract pricing activities, ensure regulatory adherence, mentor junior analysts, and serve as a key advisor to leadership on pricing strategy and contract structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and oversight of compliant, competitive pricing for government contract proposals (e.g., RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs, GWACs).
  • Collaborate with business development, contracts, finance, and program management teams to ensure alignment of strategy, compliance, and cost accuracy.
  • Develop advanced cost models, pricing strategies, and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and other applicable government contracting regulations to cost/pricing analysis.
  • Review solicitations, amendments, and contractual documents for requirements, risks, and pricing implications.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on contract terms, conditions, and pricing methodologies.

  • Demonstrate strong judgment, composure under tight deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple complex priorities.
Required Skills and Experiences:
  • 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in federal contract pricing or contract management.
  • Advanced knowledge of GSA schedules, IDIQ pricing strategies, T&M, FFP, CPFF, and hybrid contract types.
  • Deep understanding of government acquisition processes and cost principles (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with various contract vehicles (e.g. GSA, PIEE (former SeaPort NxG), SBIR, OTAs, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel or other financial/pricing modeling software (including use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support pricing, cost modeling, or proposal automation).
  • SalesForce experience preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead pricing team within a remote environment effectively.
  • Excellent analytical aptitude and the ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong ability to respond to requests for information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effectiveness in performing and managing assignments to meet goals within established guidelines and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Experience supporting DCAA audits and GAO accountability processes.
Degree Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or related field) or equivalent experience providing pricing support to Federal contracts. Professional Certification preferred (e.g. PMP, CFCM, CCCM, CPCM)
