Qualifications

• Experience in game development across AAA, indie, or hobby contexts.
• Portfolio with published work demonstrating capabilities.
• Proficiency in at least one major engine: Godot, Unity or Unreal.
• Experience with C#, GDScript, C++ or Blueprints.
• Ability to iterate gameplay issues via playtesting.
• Strong written communication for task instructions and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in QA, systems design, automated testing or AI evaluation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Godot engine.
• Collaborate on scene creation, visual scripting, and asset integration to ensure interactive and visually appealing content.
• Provide in-depth documentation and regular written feedback on game development processes and delivered components.
• Deliver comprehensive code reviews and mentorship to enhance the project’s overall code quality and maintainability.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges, optimizing performance and user experience.
• Participate in iterative development cycles, contributing insights to improve playability and engagement.
• Support the adaptation of project assets and logic to meet evolving scope requirements.
