Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a senior leader to shape and execute the Data Center Solutions strategy in North America. Based in the US with significant travel, the VP will drive growth, manage acquisitions, and unite cross-functional teams to deliver on Fusion 30 objectives.

The role requires deep data center market knowledge, strong financial acumen, and proven leadership across complex organizations. Travel will be 50% if based in Minnesota; higher elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience managing vertical markets, including 5+ years people leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Data Center market experience.
• Commercial building industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Global Data Center Solutions strategy and value proposition.
• Lead Data Center strategy from organization assessment through execution across the business.
• Identify growth opportunities via market assessment, trend analysis and competitive insights.
• Define and oversee data center product and solutions portfolio, including roadmap and priorities for NPI.
• Lead commercialization strategies and key programs for Data Center products and solutions.
• Own and drive innovation and growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions or partnerships.
• Create partnerships across the organization and measure KPIs to guide decisions.
