Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, seeks a VP, Data Center Solutions to shape the data center strategy in North America and guide acquisitions and partnerships. This role demands deep market insight, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership.

Based anywhere in the US with up to 75% travel, you will own the data center portfolio, drive growth, and lead a high-performing team across global affiliates in support of Daikin’s Fusion 30 plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years managing vertical markets, with 5+ years in people leadership.
• Minimum of 3 years data center market experience.
• Cross-functional leadership driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Commercial building industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global Data Center strategy and value proposition.
• Lead data center product and solutions portfolio, including roadmaps and innovation.
• Oversee commercialization strategies and programs for Data Center products.
• Build and develop Data Center Solutions team and talent.
• Partner with finance to develop business cases and budgets.
• Analyze financial and operational data to inform decisions and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with acquisitions and integration efforts for Data Center.
